  I was told that everything in the first half of the test looked good but needed the second half of the blood work to have any conclusive results. It's my understanding that the NT scan has two parts including blood work at 16weeks so they are probably just waiting for the second half to be completed. I'm sure everything is ok, GL!

  I guess they are going to compare the first bloodwork with the second before they give results.

  I had to wait until my 16 week appointment, too.  I didn't get the chances of my baby having something or the measurements.  The OB just told me "everything came looks good and came back normal."

  I was told the office would call no matter what and it would take about 5 business days.  I called a week after my appointment and they did have the results.  Ask if you can get the first round of results.  The second set of bloodwork checks for neural tube defects but the office should already have your results for Downs/Chromosomal defects.

  I think it depends.  My office offers the NT scan at 12-13 weeks, the quad screen at 16 weeks, or a combination they call integrated screening.  They said basically it's a combo of the NT scan and quad screen, but we would get no results until all parts were complete, so after 16 weeks.

  I called after my NT scan and they said everything looked good, but were waiting until after my 16 week appointment to say anything definitive.  I gave blood at my 16 week appointment and got the all clear on everything at 20 weeks.  GL!
