I wonder if these women got pregnant really easily and so think it's no big deal? Now Im not saying that some of the restrictions seem way out there. But no PNV? Pretty sure its been proven that those ward of serious birth defects! Come on its one pill, put in mouth and swallow!
It took me two years to get pregant. I'll easily give up caffiene, lunch meat, alcohol, my beloved herbal tea and anything else they tell me to.

Eh, I don't think it has anything to do with getting pregnant easily - more like your intelligence level. Ignoring bedrest when you have hypertension is just all sorts of stupid.
I was definitely not conservative during my pregnancy, but a lot of those posts make me . And the post about "I will reshape my baby's head if it is misshapen". WTF does that mean?
PP, she probably means she will use a head helmet if the baby's head isnt symmetical. My twin cousins had misshapen heads and they had to wear these for 23 hours of every day for almost a year. They kinda looked like little football players. I don't disagree on that one. You don't want your kid being made fun of for looking like he got squished at birth. Which most likely he did.

That poster clarified later on saying that you use both hands to gently press on the baby's head. She was not talking about helmets.
ETA: She posted the clarification in a different post.

No, I totally understand that. But since it seems to be a "flame-me" post, I wonder what is so flamable about it? Is this some secret homemade shaping plan she was sharing?
I'm sorry, I may or may not be a tad tipsy right now...

Oh sorry! yea I dont know whats so flame-worthy about that. And I didnt see the part about pressing on the baby's skull. Now that sounds like stupidity in a grandiose form. "we'll just press over here, and a little here, dont forget that fontanel!"
