I leave mine up until New Year's every year. I don't turn the lights on after Christmas. I will hopefully take it down this weekend along with the other stuff and actually get it back in the attic this year.
I'm sitting here looking at mine too. And then on the floor next to it the box of ornaments I never put on it. I just stuck all the cards we got in the mail on it instead. lol
I usually leave ours up until three kings day, but I took ours down today. We really needed the room. Although it was only a four foot tree with a few ornaments from this year only. But the tables it was on was taking up space and we have family coming over sunday. Our real tree was too far back in storage.

Are you kidding? If last year was any indication, we won't be taking our tree down until February! DH will eventually start cutting it up to burn in the fireplace.

Ours is still up too - but I don't really care. I'm not taking it down (DH is) so as long as it is taken down and everything is put away in the next month, I'm fine with it.
We're not taking ours down until LO gets here, but there's family history behind it:
LO is due on my great uncle's Bday - January 10th. My greatgrandma would never take the tree down until after my uncle's birthday. Since LO is being named after my Great Grandma, we've decided the tree stays until she gets here. (and every year we'll keep it up til her birthday... unless she is 2 weeks late or soemthing.. Jan 24th is a bit much!)
