Dear SIL,

I just babysat your kid for free so you and bro could go have a NYE dinner together. I fed her and got her ready for bed... How about a thank you. Just two little words that's all I ask.

She never says thank you for anything, I know it's not on purpose she's just socially inept. It still drives us bsc though.

That would drive me nuts. Thank you's are free and should be given out when deserved. It's NOT too much to ask for when you have gone above and byond your call of sisterly duty.

I have a SIL like that, so I know how you feel.

This sounds so like something my SIL would do. I was wondering if I should tell her "thank you" for the horrible colds she and her family gave my DH and myself since she brought her 2 sick, pinkeyed, coughing, snotty nosed children over for Christmas. Confused
