Never sent the tissue out!

I have been waiting for the chromosomal testing to come back on the baby for 3 months. I went to my regular OB who sent me to an infertility specialist because I was diagnosed with a heterozygous prothrombim gene mutation. I had a ton of blood work taken in order for them to find that. My OB said he would send all the test results to the IF doctor so I didn't think much of the long wait. When I finally got my appointment he said he did not have any record of the chromosomal test. I called my OB who then called the hospital where I had my D&C done. They said that the tissue was never even sent out! I was so upset since we will never know if the baby was ok or if something went wrong. vent over.

Oh honey that is so terrible! I don't even know what to say. I haven't quite experienced anything like it! I am so so sorry!!!

That's awful, it's mandatory to send the tissue out for testing to see if something is causing it.

Oh boy. I'd probably leave a doctor for that! I thought it was bad when my doctor told me she wasn't going to send the tissue out after some B.S. excuses when I asked (& didn't have the energy to argue with her at that point), but this is ENTIRELY different! Have you been back in touch with the OB's office? I am SO sorry you're going through this. It IS infuriating!!!
