I completely agree with Texas - if you are 9 weeks, you have had maybe one appointment (at 18, with, I assume, no prior history of loss).
Crazy. I really hope it's MUD and there is not an innocent baby tied up in all of this.
It's because of the lurkers that people are hesitant to post on the Single Parents board. Would you like to know why I'm a single parent? It's because my husband decided to rape our four year-old and I chose to protect my child.
I'd like to think I qualify as someone who can use the support of other single parents but lurkers like yourself make it difficult for us to be open about our situations.
Whether or not you believe the OP's story, you attacking her makes other people afraid to post. I'd think people who post on a TTCAL board would have a little more sympathy for people going through a difficult situation.
I think it's fair to say that your situation is completely different. And if you can't see that, then I am sorry. Getting out of a relationship because your ex was sexually assaulting your daughter is one thing. Being pissed off because your Baby's Daddy's family isn't acknowledging your love child on a website that is meant to update said BD's family about his physical well being after a serious accident, is quite another thing entirely.
Whether she knew he was married or not is irrelevent. How she is choosing to respond to his accident is completely relevent. When you post your story on the internet, you leave yourself open to criticism. Like it or not, that's a fact.
