We got her a GIANT floor pillow, bowls in a stand (very nice, scroll work bronze. Scout has refined taste, after all), a purple rectractable leash (to show her Northwestern Pride), some ropes to chew on, and the pink, long one of these:

And on the way out her Daddy decided she needed a pink tennis ball and pink frisbee because "she's a GIRL."

We are just a little excited. (Squee!)

We put EZCheese in it and it occupies Corn until he gets every lick out. We call it his pacifier Smile It's also literally the only toy that he has had since we brought him home that he hasn't chewed to pieces.

Yes! We are totally doing this, since we are going to be crate training. She will get the yummy Kong when she goes in her crate, only. That way it might be a little less traumatic for her.

Yes! We are totally doing this, since we are going to be crate training. She will get the yummy Kong when she goes in her crate, only. That way it might be a little less traumatic for her.

We also used to put canned dog food in Jake's Kong, and then freeze it so it took longer for him to work out all the innerds..

When she is full grown, you MUST get her a Cabela's ID collar. They are the awesomest. For like $13, you can get a double-oiled leather collar w/ ID plate attached and up to 4 lines of engraving. They're sweet.

This! That's how I crate trained my two. Every dog in the world should have a Kong, IMO.

I'm I the only person whose dog didn't like her kong? She's not good motivated enough to work for it. If it isn't on a silver platter (or mommy and daddy's plates) she's not interested. She even turns her nose up at treats sometimes!
