how long until trying again?

Hi, I recently had a miscarriage on Monday, was about 4 weeks and will have my follow up appt next week. I can't stop thinking about when we will be able to try again even though I know it's so soon. So when did you get the go ahead to ttc again? After one normal period, 2 etc? Thanks ladies.

So sorry for your loss. We were told to wait for 1 normal period. Best of luck to you and I hope 2010 is better than the end of 2009 for you!

I am so sorry for your loss. My m/c & D&C was in early October. My OBGYN told me to wait 2 cycles... My 1st cycle was super long so I had to take provera to bring on AF... I am hoping that this (2nd cycle) will be over soon so we can start again in Feb. Good luck!

I think you'll find there is little consistency to what doctors say. Mine said two full cycles.

Sorry for your loss. We had a natural m/c and the doctor said its best for your body to re-cooperate at least one cycle.

My OB said after 1 normal AF we could TTC again.

I m/c in November and just finished my first post-m/c AF, but it was very weird (15 days long!), so DH & I are holding off until I get another AF just to be safe and make sure everything is back to normal.
