I just got back from my 38 week appointment and there is nothing to talk about. The baby has not dropped and my cervix isn't changing. Is this something to be concerned about?
My dr said he wasn't "concerned", but would feel a lot more comfortable if the head was in my pelvis. I think he is beginning to think the baby might be too big.
I had asked a couple of weeks ago if they would do a growth scan and he said that he only orders them if he thinks the baby is too small and he didn't have a reason to order one for me.
Is it still early or should I be preparing myself for a possible c-section?
Re: 38w appt and no change - wdyt?
I wouldn't get overly concerned, but I would probably mentally prepare for a c-section just to be on the safe side. I know Dr. G is very conservative about the size of babies and c-sections, so I'd probably just keep it in the back of your mind.
Hopefully, all of your NYE excitement will get Baby Q moving!
Hahaha!
