I used to get asked if I was pregnant before I was pregnant...it bothered me SO much..and it was always by men. Now that I am pregnant, I have been asked a few times...and although I am proud to say YES! I am still a little caught off guard and almost offended...I don't know what my problem is. Anyone else have a problem with that question?
It can catch me off guard sometimes too. Mostly b/c I am so early and I knew through much of my pg w/ DD I just looked "fat" and not pregnant. So, really, I think I just look fat.
Also, how it's asked seems to make a difference. Saying, "are you pregnant?" seems a bit more shocking than "are you expecting?"
