Whoo HOOOOO!!! (can you tell I'm excited?!)
It's always been 1's and 2's only but we recently got our trash/ yard waste/ recycling flier for the year and I noticed that under acceptable materials they now listed "household plastics" and I thought it said 3's & 7's. That was exciting enough but I was just looking at it to verify what they took now and I noticed it said 3-7. That little dash makes a BIG difference! This is going to cut down on our trash a ton!!
On the bad side, it looks like they no longer take wrapping paper. I'm going to have to check on that one. We try to keep that kind of thing down but sometimes it's unavoidable!
Re: Our recycling takes ALL plastics now!!!
Yay!
Ours just says it takes food plastics...yeeaaaahhhhh....no idea what that means! We just throw them in and hope they don't throw them away on the other end. They have a truck that picks the bin up so it's not like they sort through it as they're dumping it in.
Awesome!
I thought our recycling took all plastics--turns out they only take narrow-necked bottles like soda and juice containers but not yogurt containers, etc.

Ours is the same.
