I went to look at a daycare and a 10mo baby girl came flying across the infant room on all fours - straight for me. She climbed up my pant leg and begged me to pick her up. I asked the director if it was OK and she said yes. So, I picked the little girl up and she cuddled right up to me, head on my shoulder and stuck her thumb in her mouth. When I tried to leave, she clung to my shirt and cried.
The daycare director said: You must be having a boy! I am. She said that if little girls cling to you, you're having a boy. If they act jealous - it's a girl.
Has anyone ever heard that??
Re: Ever heard this gender OWT?
I haven't heard that one before... My dd is a lot more clingy now, though - and we are having a boy.
Interesting.
Not sure. She just mentioned how a girl would react. I'd be interested to know if little boys "count" too. Hmmm
but what if the baby were gay?
never heard the owt, but it's a cute story.
LMAO. I guess you'd have to wait until they were teenagers to know if it was right in that case.
This.

I've never heard of that, but that's funny because my friends' baby daughters have been extra obsessed with me lately, lol.
ETA: and my friend's son, who used to lurve me when he was a little baby, practically paid no attention to me whatsoever the last time I saw him (since getting pregnant). Weird! haha
I thought my last one was a girl because my niece HATED me while I was pregnant...it was actually really weird.
Guess she just didn't like her male cousin.
