Chicco Key Fit Cortina System. It comes in a 22lb or 30lb version. I spoke to a few moms and they said that the baby will likely get longer before heavier. Meaning they won't gain 8 lbs and only 1 inch which is the difference in size between the two systems. Either way, they are both great. Rated the safest car seat! My suggestion is to research them online, decide what brands, options etc, you like. Then go into a store like Babies R Us which has a ton and check them out in person. Then decide. Good luck
Re: Traveling System Question
Take a look at my post below. Some are responding with the travel systems they like and use.

It was so easy to use and you could tell the quality was there.
We're leaning this way too.
i got the baby trend jogger one with ds. it did a good job as both a travel system and a jogging stroller.
this time, we're getting a double jogger that will take a carseat so we can use it once again as a travel system.
