Show me your nursery!

in 3rd Trimester

My DH are having a hard time picturing this nursery.  We are on team green and have painted the walls beige.  We are looking to go with a modern theme.  The furniture is dark wood (espresso) and white.  Can't think of a color (other than red) that would be a good accent.  Our bedding is:

I love green, but we don't think it will look good with too much in the room.  Also stuck on what color rug to get.

Any thoughts, advice?  Would love to see your nursery for ideas!

    I am really bad at this, but maybe the light blue or olive green that is in the bedding.  Red just seems too bright to me.

    I *love* this bedding. I was unable to find it locally so I didn't buy it. I did save this picture for inspiration (for the life of me I don't remember where I found this photo so I apologize if I swiped this from anyone on the bump!). Maybe some of these ideas will help you?? Good luck!

    Since some of the things that you seem to need aren't necessities, maybe you could wait to find out what you're having and then buy the accent pieces (ie- rug). At that point, you can buy colors that are gender specific.  But, with beige walls, espresso furniture and cream and green bedding, I think teal would be cute.

    You can see some of my nursery in my siggy pic.  We are waiting to put more touches in until after LO is born (we are team green as well).

    I love the green we picked.  It's Sherwin Williams but I stole the color inspiration from Restoration Hardware's "Silver Sage".  IMO, I think it would go nicely with the bedding you picked.

    you can pull any of the colors out of the bedding...you don't need just one color.  or stripes or another pattern in those colors would also work well.  i have pics in my bio of our nursery...we're team blue, but it could work for both sexes.
