My brother married his girlfriend of 6 years, finally!
I mean I know you are happy and all but that is just ridiculous. I don't see any need to aw that you got pregnant when the rest of us are still here waiting and therefore is the whole point of this post. What good things happened to us since we DIDN'T get pregnant. Ugh.
DH and I are at our strongest together! IF has made our relationship like a rock! DS is healthy and looks like his athsma is all gone! DS has been getting straight A's!!
We took 2 vacatiosn to Disney and Vero Beach! (I'm a freak I know)
Spent the wholw summer at home
landed my new great job!
My grandma and my childhood friend both died this year so it was hard! But I got to go to grandmas funeral in Mexico alone with my dad. I was able to support my dad and give him things to laugh at! Made our relationship much stronger. I learned to appreciate life the way it is already!!

DH and I bought our first house (and sold three: mine, his and his mother's). My second neice (first girl for little sis) was born. My parents had their 40th anniversary (one week after my older sis had her 15th). DH and I decided to TTC (we actually decided this in 2008, but didn't start until around June 2009). My BFF is expecting a healthy baby (due any day now) after having 3 m/cs and being diagnosed as having MTHFR. Found out DH will be starting day shift January 18, 2010 and will get weekends off (he has worked Sunday night through Thursday night -- actually Friday morning -- for 13 years)!!

We moved back to CT on short notice, and I reconnected with wonderful old friends. Our chosen home fell through, but at the last minute, hubby and I found a beautiful house to rent with great vibes, and are considering buying it. We had a number of deaths this year in the family, but it brought us closer together for sure, in particular with my in-laws. I had to euthanize one of my horses - my most talented and younger one - but I had two amazing friends give me the opportunity to regularly ride their up-and-coming younger horses, since they don't have the time. They saw how devastated I was and reached out to me, and I feel so blessed for their sincere friendship and making sure that I kept riding, knowing that it was the one thing that would help me to deal with the loss. With the extra money each month that I would normally have spent on my younger horse, I moved my older guy to a nicer barn with every amenity that we could ask for, and wonderful people to boot.
Hubby was out to sea for 6 months, but when he came back we were closer than ever, and we learned so much about each other during his absence. He saw some interesting places around the world, and I'm so happy for him because I've been able to travel a lot in my life, and he has always wanted to, but never had the opportunity. And we decided to try for a baby! That was perhaps the most exciting thing.
I really hope 2010 is the start of our family. But you know what? Even if crap does happen, everything that happened in 2009 that was "terrible" somehow ended up to be a great opportunity and a new blessing in disguise, so I have no doubt that the same will happen with 2010. I don't wish for it to be rocky, but if there are bumps, I'm not worried.
I married my best friend- twice. (Legal ceremony and beautiful beach wedding).
I've had a lot of time to finally get healthy. I got rid of a horrible job that made me sick in all ways possible.
We got annual passes to Disney and have been 8 or 9 times, including special events. Mr Techie and I discovered a real love for the magic that we feel there and are super excited that we share that.
I got to go to Cassadaga, FL with my mom and aunt and had my first psychic reading. (It was awesome!)

well, we were lucky enough to be able to save for some much-wanted updates to our house, like replacing the atrocious carpet and getting beautiful new countertops. i got my first new car, very exciting. so financially, things are good, but lots of family members going through hard times. would definitely trade the material things in to keep my sister and SIL from having to go through a divorce and my husband's uncle from having a stroke, but i am grateful for dh and what we have. and i sure do love my dog!
