RP: Safety 1st LiteWave Travel System

in 2nd Trimester
Does anyone have this travel system or any experience with it? My in-laws got us this stroller for Christmas and we love it. It's not the one I registered for but it seems nice and what reviews I have read online seem to be positive. I was just wondering if anyone has any personal experience with this travel system or if you have heard anything about the safety reviews.

    Safety First is owned by parent company Cosco, which Baby Bargains gives a C+ as a brand. They don't have much good to say about this infant car seat though- it gets a D+ due to "past safety records and troubles with this seat's base".

    Sure! They don't say much about the travel system, other than it is new for 2009. Seems like their main issue is the carseat itself, which dealt with a major safety recall in 2006 that wasn't handled very well. If you like the system though, and have read other reviews that are positive, than you might be fine with it. Good luck Smile

    Safety 1st was just part of the recall for the car seat handles. We had registered for that brand and decided against it.
