NBR: Crappy day (literally!)

DH woke me up at 5am to tell me the kitchen and basement are flooded and he can't stay home b/c if he doesn't go in to work, he won't get his holiday pay tomorrow and we're broke. So, I spent an hour sopping up water and soaking every towel and paper towel we own. He calls 30 min ago to say "Stay away from the water! The guys at work said it must be sewer water!" Great. I have it from head to toe and all the water in the house is shut off and I can't wash my hands! Which means now I can't touch my face or mouth (or eat) until I can shower b/c of the possibility of E. Coli. I used up a whole bottle of antibac gel to scrub my hands, arms, chest and feet. I swished with Listerine 3 times in a row in case I touched my mouth and didn't realize it. And now, I'm sitting here starving, thirsty (have to stay hydrated due to contractions) and squeezing my cheeks b/c my colace kicks in at 8 every morning. I can't leave the house bc there was an ice storm and there are crashes everywhere and our car is no good on ice.
