Some say it's safe during pregnancy but for some reason I thought I heard that it still has alcohol in it. It's obviously something I can go w/out but it sounds so good and just thought it would be fun to ring in the new year w/something other than juice! I wasn't a big drinker to begin with and was only plannning on having one but still wanted your thoughts. Thanks and Happy New Year!!!

Non-alcoholic has a little bit of alcohol in it. You have to buy "alcohol Free"
Then you are good to go. That's what I'm going to look for tonight.
i drank o'douls with dd, and have had a few with this LO. that's just my decision. I drink a lot of water with it, and only have 1 on any given occassion.

I would have one and enjoy it!
I tried the Sutter Home "fre"sparkling wine over the holidays and it was suprisingly good. It was sweet, kind of like Asti Spumante.
I drank 2 O'douls Amber at a Christmas party b/c I was tired of drinking water and juice. There is a tiny bit of alcohol in it, but there is also alcohol in mouthwash. You would have to drink 10 of them to get the same amount of alcohol as a regular beer. I know it takes more than one beer to get me buzzed, so you would have to drink A LOT of it to even get a buzz.

It has 0.5% alcohol by volume or less in it. I had some quite often with DD (but only 1 or 2 per occasion) because I was pregnant over the summer and like beer at barbecues and baseball games. This time I did have some at a Christmas party. The kind that tastes the most like real beer is Clausthaler, not usually found in bars but can be bought in a liquor store.
All mocktails/sparkling ciders/etc. just taste like juice to me, so I don't even bother with them because if I am having something like that I want it to taste like the alcoholic version, not like juice. I usually either have the n/a beer or my drink of choice during pregnancy, cranberry with seltzer water and a lime. I'll probably just have water or whatever soda is available at the party tonight. Wooo!!!
