We are staying in and enjoying our last New Years as two. Making crab dip, and fondue....and of course sparkling cider since alcohol is out of the picture!
ds and I are going to my girlfriends house (a half an hour drive). She is having a kid friendly party. The best part is that she has an indoor pool and game room. DS is going to be sooo excited.
The only part I'm not looking forward to is the drive home with all the drunks on the road. Although, we will be leaving around 10:00pm. Maybe we will miss most of them.
Whats your crab dip recipe? That sounds good! We will be home with our 2year old and I have to be up at 5:30 for work in the morning so I'll be asleep before midnight I'm sure. I just don't wanna be out with lots of people this time!
We are staying in and having a big bonfire/party at our house. There are tons of people coming over. I'm glad I won't have to drive with all the drunks on the road and DH can enjoy his last child-free New Years. I'll have to go to the store and pick up some sparkling cider or something fun for me to drink so I don't feel too left out being the only sober one. Hmm chinese sounds good!

We are going to my BFF's Welcome home New Years Eve party. Who knows I might get crazy and stay up until Midnight! I like a lot of other people hope that miss the drunks on the raods. Iam confident that CSPD will have many DUI checkpoints, and get the drunks!
We're going to go to the ILs for Chinese and family movies...nothing too exciting but atleast there's a chance I'll be up past midnight.
lol! we do the ILs for chinese every year. This year we will be doing that, but instead of going out afterwards, we are going to the city building for an alcohol free/kid friendly New Years, there is skating, hot chocolate and fireworks. It will be done 10pm...I'll be asleep by 10:05...lol!

Dh and I are going to our BFs house for a party. It is literally only a couple blocks away from our home so it should be an easy travel (I HOPE) All of our couple friends are getting together. I am going to try super hard to make it to midnight! Also going to get some sparkling grape juice for me to drink!
The same thing we do every year: go to DH's Aunts to have shrimp & Italian sandwiches with the rest of the family (guess I'm stuck with the shrimp this year), then off to party with our couple friends. One just proposed to his girlfriend last night (and DH is best man) so I think we've actually got 2 stops to make--one to the bowling alley with all the drunks to give our congrats and then off to hang with the rest of our more relaxed, hanging at home friends. This is the first year we're not throwing the party and I'm pretty excited about that!
We are going to our friends house, they do something fun every year and this year is the polar plunge and piniata (sp?) party! As the prego of the group I'll be handing out towels after my hub and all the other crazies jump in the pool! lol Her kiddos have been practicing for like a month, soooooooooo cute!
