I feel so refreshed
Mady didn't wake up once last night. I slept in her room on our queen air bed (which BARELY fit, LOL) and she would fuss but always settled herself. She's still favoring her arm today but has let DH touch her hand without crying out right away. And it doesn't look swollen. So I'm going to call the nurses line at 8 when they open.
Thank goodness for sleep though. Tonight I may try leaving the bed up but sleeping in bed with DH to see if she sleeps well. That way if she wakes up I can easily switch rooms.

I forgot to say that a cast won't help with the pain anyway. ?They said to make sure to keep giving him pain meds for the first few days. ?So it wouldn't have been THAT urgent if that was all you suspected it might be. ?:o)?

LOL yeah, what's your point? She is programmed to wake at 6:30ish. Rarely sleeps later. So of course I was awake at 6. And thanks for the reassurance about the cast not providing pain relief. I didn't think of that.
