Once and For All: is the Udder Covers deal a scam?

I've seen it on here a few times and just got sent an email about it. In case you haven't heard about it, you enter a code (2010) and it takes $32 off a $32 nursing cover. You only have to pay $8.50 for shipping. But I've read here a couple times that people never got theirs. Anyone know??

I ordered one and paid through paypal. I received mine without issue. I never had any further charges. I think it's a good deal. I'm thinking about ordering another.

Probably not. But, I think it's still considered taking a chance, because really- how do they give these away for free?

I ordered one a few months ago, it arrived a few weeks later. Fairly crappy quality. I wouldn't order one again. My friend ordered one and the bands, and the bands never came. She emailed them, never heard back. She called and some child answered and she never spoke to anyone. I don't know, that just seems sort of shady to me.

But, a ton of people have had zero problems. The problems I've heard of occur months after your recieve your purchase, with cc info being sold or something. I don't have time to worry about that, so I changed my card #. I've heard paypal is a better option if you do order.

My BFF did it a few weeks ago and got hers in the mail. The code was different: "planning" . I just did it the other day, code went through for me, and now I am waiting for mine to come. So we'll see if it still works.

...they really don't give them away for free, they are making money off the shipping it doesn't cost $8.50 to ship them and I'm sure they buy the fabric & thread in bulk since they've carried the same designs since I ordered back in April.

it is not an issue with getting the covers, the problem is that people have been having charges on their credit cards from the company who produces them. Google it before you order! I here using pay pal might help. You will get a cover, but you might have your credit card info taken.

NOT a scam!! I have ordered them twice, got them both times(within a couple of weeks), and have not had any problems with my credit card. If you are scared about that, order with PayPal.

It ordered on two separate occasions. They both came within two weeks. I paid using paypal and have had no problems whatsoever.

I ordered mine and got it within 2 weeks. I ordered with paypal, so I can't comment on the cc numbers being used fraudulently.

I tried to order one but something just seemed off. (This was awhile ago) And after hearing about the crappy quality you can probably make them yourself for cheaper than the shipping and handling charge.

There is ONE person who claims it was a scam with personal experience. I ordered mine, it was on backorder and arrived within a month. The quality is fine; not see-thru. I never recieved extra charges. Googling and finding people freaking out about the same case calling it a scam isn't valid information.

I have a couple and one of my friends has ordered several. Neither of us has had a problem. I ordered mine on a Wednesday and the first one arrived that Friday. The 2nd was supposed to be back-ordered until mid December and I received it before Thanksgiving. The quality is accurate for a $9 purchase. They will sufficiently do the job they are intended for.

I know a few girls on another board had CC issues after ordering. Plus I heard they are junk.

Ill stick with my hooter hider from DS. There are also girls on etsy that sell covers for $20. Id rather do that and be guaranteed that Ill get one that is good quality.

I ordered one a month ago with my credit card and haven't had a problem. I wasn't impressed with the quality though , I could drap a thin white sheet and it would cover just as much.
