I really want to try cloth. ?There is a place that can provide them, clean them & deliver them to my door for $30 a week. ?This is my 1st, is that expensive? ?I live in Brooklyn without a car or laundry in my building so the idea of having them delivered sounds amazing. ?I just don't know if that's a crazy price?
Re: How much are diapers per week?
I'm going to go back to work but DH works from home so he's going to be Mr. Mom. ?If we do go with cloth we'll still use disposable if we go any where.
???
I agree that that sounds pretty awesome
I guess it would 100% come down to YOUR budget and if that is affordable for you
I'm really trying to do cloth as well, unfortuantly a service is not available in my area, but $30 a week doesn't sound bad for my budget especially when the effort involved is almost nill. If it's affordable, and is the best descision for your family than it sounds like a win
If you can afford it, go for it! If you do not have easy access to laundry and no service, I wouldn't rec cloth. A couple of friends of mine have tried it and the time, effort, and expense of washing pretty much made it not worth it to them. But if you can afford it and the service comes to you, go for it!
Like the others, I spend probabably $40 a month on diapers. Goes down as the child gets older since they use less diapers - the smaller they are, the more they poop! I shop sales, buy in bulk, and use coupons, so I do well with Pampers. I'd love to do cloth for the enviornmental reasons, but we simply cannot afford it.
