so frustrated-DH vent

My husband had surgery 2 weeks ago, and is on the mend. My in laws (who usually watch him) have been great about watching the baby. DH is finally on the mend, and has had the baby all day while I am at work. I went home for lunch, and he asked me to take the baby to my in laws because "he can't handle a whiney,crying baby, I am not made to deal with it". Are you kidding me?????? The ped actually said that he is a "high maintenance baby". He is just that way, so you put him in his swing, then his chair, ect, and see what sooths him. In my opinion you do what you can to make the baby feel better. DH is just mad because the baby doesn't want to sit on the couch all day and watch sports center. What the heck does he think I do on my days off?????????????????????????? I am working a 12 hour shift today, and I have to deal with baby and my baby that I married when I get home. I know he is recovering, but seriously he just had his tonsils out, and I was up and around long before this after my C-Section.

I am so frickin irritated, I can't see straight. If I had known before what I know now...........

eek! sorry your having to deal with that. i know its easier said then done when you're frustrated but a lot of times i just have to calmly talk to my husband and explain to him about moving around and trying different things and see hunny, this is why the dishes dont always get done! sometimes they just dont know or think its so much easier than it is!
