Hmmm?  DO you often keep them?

Re: Whats your resolution??

  • DH & I are going on a very much needed diet. And we will stick to it.

  • I do a to-do list...kind of like resolutions by category, but more specific than just "Be better about blah" or "Do less/more of XYZ."  Like:

"Green" resolution: replace our cleaning products with green alternatives

Marriage resolution: find a way to get at least one date w/ DH per month

Cooking resolution: try 10 new recipes

Mom resolution: make a file of craft ideas (just print out pics/instructions from online) so I can easily grab and do one with DD1 when we have some time together.

    etc.

DH thinks I'm crazy and set the bar too high b/c I have a ton of them, but it actually makes me feel more accomplished if I even get to half of them by the end of the year!

  • Every year I resolve to give up/cut majorly back on Diet Coke. I fail every year (last year I made it until March!) I am giving up on it this year. I figure I don't smoke, rarely drink, eat well, go to the gym almost every day, and floss twice a day. I will keep my Diet Coke, damnit.

  • DIET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  TTC and TTC and TTC lol!
  • To be the best mom, wife, daughter, friend, sister, person...that I can possibly be.  I have such amazing people surrounding me and I just want to be as wonderful to them, as they are to me.

  • CubbyMama, I love your idea! and I might be stealing it!

I never really bother with resolutions. This year, if anything, I'm going to focus on spending a bit less (we'll see) and trying to find more time with DH. I'm afraid of what damage living apart for over a year will do to us.

  • I have a long list.  I know I'm setting myself up for failure by having so many, but I'll give it a shot.

Drink more water.  Eat more fruits and veggies.  Be more disciplined (with school especially).  Lose weight/get healthier.  Show DH more appreciation, give him more compliments.  Start a journal.

  • I don't even bother making em Wink

  • I have one just for me, one for me as a wife, and one for me as a mom.

For Me: more water, less calories :P

    For DH: The Love Dare

For DD:  I am writing down something cute/funny she does every day she is 2

  • i never make them, but i decided i would this year.  started a blog to hopefully help me keep it!!

  • Lose 40lbs because I am tired of being a fat ass.  Plus, I have bins of clothes that I love and really want to get back into them.

I say this knowing full well that I may jinx it, but Ben has started taking his good naps again.  So, next week I will start working out when he goes down for his nap -- at least 4, ideally 5 days a week.  I am a relatively healthy eater, but I need to drink more water and cut back on carbs.

  • To have a flippin baby.

    and loose like 40lbs...

the two are connected me thinks.
