She's still crying...even during dinner and her bath

Who stole my happy baby and where the h*ll is she?  I want her back!

We also noticed that she isn't using her left arm/hand as much.  Like, during dinner she wouldn't pick up her sippy with both hands, she just kept crying for us to do it.  She'd try to do it with one but that didn't work too well.  So of course now I'm worried she hurt her arm somehow.  No bruising or swelling but DH says she seems to be favoring it.

I just need a break.  This is all too much.

I don't know where my happy baby went either.  It's been a long day.  Hopefully we can get him into the doc tomorrow to make sure his ear infection and throat infection are clear.

  • Since the arm-favoring is a new (or newly-discovered) symptom, I'd call the pedi tomorrow.  Just in case.  It's so hard to do a thorough physical exam on someone who can't communicate well.

I'm sorry -- this must be profoundly frustrating for you.

Definitely.  We're both super frustrated.  And tired.  We're going to keep an eye on her arm.  Who knows, it could just be because she's grumpy.  I hope so!
