Reason #23583 that DH will be a cute dad

We were at a restaurant for lunch today, and they had butcher paper and crayons on the table. He was scribbling something, then looked up over my shoulder and got a goofy look on his face. I looked over and there was a kid, maybe a year old, standing on his bench seat next to his grandma, showing off his crayon to my DH. So DH picked up a crayon and showed if off to him. Every few minutes the kid would pick up another crayon, or the whole container, and show it off to my DH. And my DH would do the same with him.

I think they could have spent the entire afternoon playing. It was SO cute!

    Are you considering open adoption?  My one regret about going internationally is that this won't be something that will be very possible for us (although I completely understand that it's not for everyone).

    Yep. At the very minimum, it will be semi-open (letters and pictures). We're open to visits. We'll see what happens.
