So...tonight sucked

Kate choked on a piece of candy and I had to sweep her mouth and was seconds from doing the Heimlich when she puked it all out instead.  All over me.

Then Ryan had the MOTHER OF ALL MELTDOWNS.  He kicked me so I had to carry him up to his room...where he stayed for the next 30 minutes.  After that he went into the bath, had dinner and is now in bed.

Yeah...he is a little out of my 10-20 lb weight range.Crying I'm only supposed to lift 10lbs but got clearance for 20 only when holding Kate...because as a SAHM you can't exactly not hold your baby.

But Kate is okay, Ryan is just over tired and I will survive.  But fark am I a mess.  It was really scary with Kate and I just hurt because of Ryan.

  • I am so sorry.  There is something in the air.  Jack had the mother of all "fits" yesterday because I wouldn't take him to the library.  Seriously kid, you're 20 months old.  At least it's someplace I love:)

    True. Smile

And we need to have a GTG.  I think it might be my NYR. Smile  Meet more EFFers in person.

And Kate is not only just fine, she is peacefully sitting in front of the fireplace with a book and 'reading' to herself while leaning on the new ball I bought her for Christmas.  And she's reading one of my fav kids books, Corduroy.

I am glad for that.  We do need to GTG, you know I only live across the bridge and a little to the right, stop before you get to the zoo entrance.  SO CLOSE!

  • ((hugs))

I'm so sorry.  Your evening sounds horrific.
