You're not getting a double or sit & stand stroller? Is Carter not a stroller kind of kid? I know he is a bit older than my DD, but I don't think she's ready to be stroller free and I don't think she would sit on the bench seat/stand well with a sit & stand.

Are you kidding me?? I need to strap that kid DOWN. God knows where he would end up.
Yes, we plan on getting a double stroller. Not sure which one yet. Thinking the new Chicco Tandem double stroller out in March or April or the Kolcraft Tandem stroller.
Which one are you getting?

I have dreams of getting the Baby Jogger City Select, but it is well beyond our budget. We have a Graco Snugride carseat so we'll probably end up getting the Graco Quattro Tour Duo.
I've looked at the Kolcraft Contours at BRU at and it's really long, though I do like all of the different options to arrange the seats.
I think my sisters has the Duo. Is it blue and grey?? She loves it!
I really want the Bumbleride Indie Twin. Yeah right.

It comes in a variety of colors, but we're looking at one that is blue and grey! I also love the Bumbleride Indie Twin, which is cheaper than the City Select and comes with the carseat adapter.
I saw one (Bumbleride) in person at a store in Wayne and LOVED it, but it too is out of our budget. If you're really interested see if a store will sell you there 2009 floor model at a discount. The store I went to, Bellini, said they would discount the 2009 model, at least 10%, after they get the 2010.
can i butt in please?
my son will be just over 3 when baby girl arrives may 24.....and tonight i went and looked at the baby trend double. the graco seat snaps into it and the back seat can either be a buckled-in seat with a snack tray OR a sit n' stand option for the bigger kids. it's only 169, too.
Thanks for the info, Sarah! Boo I have a Chicco though so not many things will fit that car seat unless I buy a separate adapter for it.
Raffes- Cute new siggy pic
I'll have to look into the floor model thing, but I think it's still over budget for us. I could get it, but I don't think I want to spend that much on a stroller, kwim?? lol

Sarah - I like the idea of the "convertible" sit & stand, but I have a Baby Trend High Chair and Pack and Play and while they do their job, they definitely are not built to last and this will hopefully be the last stroller I buy.
Jenni - I completely know what you mean. We inherited "big girl" furniture for DD which will save us a ton of money, but I'm still not sure I can justify spending that money on a stroller. Oh, and I love this pic of DD, we took it during the last snow!
And now the snow is GONE! Already! Bt I think it's suppose to snow more this weekend, etc. I hate snow and I'm ready for spring now that xmas is over!
MIL is actually buying all all new furniture for baby girl. I can't believe it! So sweet of her! I really didn't want to spend more than like $300 on a stroller though. We've already started paying for out OBX vacation in August and it's like an extra $300/month, lol. So I think it's really not in the budget.
I wish Maclaren had a tandem. Hmmm.
