I say that HB as an indicator is BS. With my girl even the medical staff said boy until my induction date. Theirs indicated boy, but they are girly little girls.

I agree! But i'm just curious to see how many times it's true. My SIL is dead set on the gender by my LOs heartbeat. 150bpm is so average though... i'm not sure how she considered it low.

this baby has an hb around the 150's and he is all boy!
DS #1 was in the 160's and trust me, he is also all boy! lol

Girl and anywhere from 155-180.
My doctor said typically girls range from 140-160 and boys range from 120-140, but there are always exceptions.
GIRL
-Last was 146BPM
-The 2 before that were also 140's
-Before that was 154BPM
-First was 167BPM
Our little girls heart rate has been consistently between 156-168. I have a doppler so I check it regularly!
Baby #1: Boy, HB was always in the 170's.
Baby #2: Girl, HB was in the 130's and 140's.

ds - hb was always above 150
dd - hb was only above 150 at the 9 week u/s, after that it was always spot on 150 or lower.
