Nursery question?

I'm bored tonight and DH isn't home so I'm posting a lot.  Smile  What is the progress with everyones nurseries?  We have nothing done yet and I'm starting to freak a little because Dh still needs to refinish the hardwood floors.  I'm worried that we are starting late.

    we've ordered & received the bedding, already had the dresser in the spare bedroom, got the crib here & set up (it's actually my crib from when i was a baby...i know some people aren't okay with that but we are) with the mattress (christmas gift).  that's all so far, though! the plan is to be mostly done by 32 weeks...we'll see :)

    We started looking for furniture but haven't ordered anything yet. We may take care of that this weekend. Otherwise we haven't started any work in the actual room. Probably in the next week or two we'll get a jump on that. I think you're fine! From what I understand ordering cribs is the part that can take the longest (some places take 12+ weeks) so once you take care of that you should be ok.

    DH is actually upstairs putting the final coat of paint on the walls. We got the call yesterday that our furniture is in (after 12 weeks!!) so we get to pick it up tomorrow.  We'll set it up this weekend and then we'll just have to fill it with baby stuff. Smile

    I think the most important thing was ordering the furniture. I can't wait to decorate the nursery. We ordered the furniture just a few weeks back. But, the waiting time is 8-14 weeks!! So, I would start shopping around now.

    We won't have a nursery, just sharing our room with her, but we haven't begun any preparations for it yet. We just picked out furniture and bedding today and still need to clean and rearrange our furniture to make space for our little girl.

    We haven't started! I ordered the Crib and the bedding. We have to take the spare bed and everything out and do alittle work to the room. It'll get done eventually. The girls at my work are telling me to wait until my 7th month? they said its an OWT that its bad luck to start the nursery before that time.... But I'm sure we will get started in the next few weeks!

    i just need to paint/decorate and switch the dresser from ds's room into the new nursery.  and i need to find a glider or some sort of replacement for the glider in ds's room, but we're waiting for our tax return to do all that.

    Girl, I'm 26 weeks, 2 days from 3rd Tri and my nursery is getting started this weekend... we did already have the crib though (Just not in the house yet).  Hope you can get your husband to help you sooner than mine did!

    I didn't need to paint, and we got the crib a month or so ago and set it up the other day (I got it new in a box on craigslist, so I didn't have to wait).  I picked up the glider yesterday.  The dressers I've started to look at, and I wanted to go pick up today (also just getting from a store, so no waiting) but I need to wait until I get paid again!  I've sadly been on a spending spree for the last couple weeks.  :)  The rug I ordered the other day, and it was supposed to be delivered today.  I already bought a bunch of decorations from Hobby Lobby, but we're waiting until I get the dressers in to really put them all up.

    We have the crib with bedding and mobile all set up, we just got our changing table, glider, and armoire/dresser used off of craigslist two weeks ago, and my husband just organized all the furniture and everything in the order we want it. The walls are mostly painted (still need touch up), and we still need to put up our wall art and mural stickers up. Today I am working on washing all of her clothes so I can get them off the hangers and into the drawers. I don't think you are behind at all, some people are just a little eager and get started early.

    Well I feel better now. I think I'm just getting nervous because I know the bedroom floors are going to be a PIA.

    Painted, ordered furniture, and picked out bedding. Need to put up the crown molding.

    I painted our nursery last sat and sunday. Dh did the mural for the nursery today and it looks beautiful. Our crib and dresser will be here in about 2 weeks. My goal is to be done with the nursery by 30 weeks.

    Room just finished being painted.
    Polka dot decals have been ordered.
    Furniture is here (in boxes) with DH planning to put it together tomorrow or Friday.
    Bedding is bought.
    Decided today on a recliner/glider - now we just have to order it.

    Since this was my Christmas break from teaching I took advantage to get a good start on the nursery .  :)
