leg goes numb and has sharp pains

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I tried googling it, but since I don't really know what it is called, or what is causing the problem....so it hard to find answers.

When I stand or walk around for awhile, my right thigh starts to go numb and then I get these sharp pains all up and down my thigh. When i sit down and for awhile, it goes away, but then when I stand up again....it comes back. it is so annying and very painful.

Any thoughts?

Not sure theres much you can do. I've been having lots of back pain but I know it's not sciatica it's just discomfort.

10 back bends, every few hours. Just be careful not to over extend your abdominals when doing them. It has helped me immensely!
