2nd Trimester
F/U to Mom at big u/s
Thanks for everyone's advice. We had our big u/s today and decided to take my mom with us. DH and I went in first and saw a lot of the movement and measurements by ourselves while mom waited in the waiting room. Then I told DH, whenever he was ready he could go out into the waiting room and have my mom come in. It worked out really well. We had our alone time and mom got to be in the room for part of it as well.
I also posted before on what to eat before the big u/s and thanks to everyone's advice I had a normal lunch and a soda about 2 hours before the appt. The baby was VERY active but the u/s tech was still able to get all the measurements she needed. I did need to lay on my side for a part so she could get a good angle to check the gender (the baby decided to stop cooperating towards the end). She told us we were definitely.......
TEAM BLUE!!!! I was pleasantly surprised since I was convinced it was a girl. DH and I are both over the moon about our little baby boy.

Do realize that you can go back after 10 minutes and delete all the duplicates. WE would sure appriciate that. Also, you can edit one to tell us all you intend to say.
Sometimes the bump is a biitch like that.
The bump must have farted again. I hate when it does that!

It'll do that if it is slow to post and you are still typing. It is tough to know it is thinking since it is doing nothing.
