Grr. we still dont have a name chosen

in 3rd Trimester

We had a name picked out but the more we thought about it... it just didnt fit. I'm trying to find a name that sounds right with DS#1's name which is Gavin Andrew.... but I can not find one. Any name that I think MIGHT could be it... DH says he doesnt like... Looks like John Doe Roberson will be his name b/c I'm lost.

Ah that feels better. I know I have plenty of time and we will have 3-4 days after he's here to see him and pick one before we leave the hospital but I like to have things ready ahead of time and I got his Memory Book the other day and REALLY want to fill it out!

    Okay...so this is weird but I read your post and as soon as I saw the name Gavin, I thought of Tucker as being a nice sibling name to go with it. I don't know any Gavin's or any Tuckers and am really not sure where it came from but had to share just in case it's a name you and DH have discussed already. Good Luck!!!!

    I also thought Tucker. That's funny. Another name that came to mind was Hunter.

    Won't hurt to add to the list I just made of random names :) Im open to all potential names... I need help lol

    My best friend and her husband thought they had plenty of time to choose a name for their son.  She was 33 weeks pregnant and her water broke last night.  She had her son this morning at 2 in the morning!!  Thankfully they had a short list to pick from and they named him Zachary Charles.

    FWIW my friend is naming her second son Gavin and her first is Tyler. I think those two names sound really cute together.

     He's doing better than expected.  Breathing on his own!  Weighs 5.5 lbs so he was sure to be a BIG baby full term!  He'll be in the NICU for a while "just in case" but he's doing well.  I can't wait to see him!

    Some people look at the baby and just know the name..my uncle on the other hand could not come up with a name for my cousin in the hospital so his birth certificate says unnamed boy..yes it actually does..he came back later and named him...huckleberry nathaniel...so i am sure one will pop into your head..just go with a list..hold your LO in your arms and say each name to him..you will know when the right one is spoken..GL

    I feel ya, we didn't name DD#1 until the day I was discharged from the hosptial, and it was only becasue I didn't want to be responsible for turning in the birth certificate info.

    This time, we've got it narrowed down, but again she won't be named until after she's born.

    For you, how about Garrett or Connor those both go well with Gavin.  I LOVE the name Gavin!

    Our boy option for LO is Owen Robert. I think it kind of matches Gavin Andrew. More modern/unique first name with a good classic middle name. Just thought I would throw that out there! HTH
