Agreed about the sn. The u doesn't bother me, I just figure she's an uneducated European/Canadian.

2. would you be peeved if I spelled theater 'theatre'? Because I often do. It is correct in mine eyes and the eyes of the English.
Imagining you saying this with your cute little voice is cracking my *** up.
But I deepen my voice and add a fist pump! It's not cute! Not cute at all! ::pouts::
I actually don't REALLY mind the "u." I mind blatant misspellings more. (One of my students insisted on writing everything British on the board one day and I was excited about it until he couldn't spell "freckle." ~sigh~)
And I always write "theatre." Always.

Favourite is spelled with a U, as is colour. I'm most definitely not uneducated. It's how they're spelled ;P
My confession: I don't adjust my spelling because I'm on a predominantly American message board. I am Canadian and that's how they're spelled!!!

Not at all! Although I have to admit that thanks to this post, I'm now comparing you to that evil dog in Up.
With your cojones of steel here on le' bump, I do not think of you as having a pixy-ish voice.
I thought for sure something along the lines of an Alto. With the sassy attitude I figured she'd have a voice to match.
I just laughed out loud in my office!
