My almost 2 y/o's reaction to 'baby'

The PP below's 2 yo is doing better than my 20 month old.  Whenever we tell her a baby's coming, she asks "Baby?", I point to my belly, and she looks at us like we're imbeciles and corrects us "No.  Tummy".

I swear she even rolls her eyes a bit. I swear I wonder what she's going to be like as a teenager and REALLY thinks she knows everything.

    That it hilarious!  My sister told my 3 yr old nephew that I'm having two babies, and you know what he thinks happened?  He told me that I ate the babies (that's why they're in my tummy) and that I'm going to poop them out.  He's dead serious when he tells me too.  I'm wondering what my sister told him...

    ha ha ha, too cute! It's amazing that they already feel they know everything! When I first tried to tell DS about the baby he looked at my tummy and said "Thats Mommy's fat belly!" lol.

    When we tell my almost 23mo that Mama has babies in her belly, she lifts up her shirt, pats her tummy and says "DD baby in tummy."

    Ah that is cute!

    When I tell DS (19mo) that mommy has a baby in her belly, he just has to find my belly button and say "bewyuton" and pretend to tickle me...then he finds his belly button and then goes and lifts up DH's shirt to find his belly button!  :)

    My DD is 18 mo. old and she points to my belly all the time and says "baby". ?She also hugs and kisses my belly all the time and tries to feed the baby through my belly button. ?I really wonder if she gets it or if she just plays along and thinks I'm crazy.
