We plan on buying the Graco Lauren crib in white... but will be using a white dresser we currently have in the spare room which we will be turned into the nursery. All we need will be a changing pad and cover so we can save some $.

This crib is online at Walmart.com for $120 dollars right now...I hope those of you who already bought one didn't spend too much more. I am debating on just getting it just bc of the price.

The $120 one at Wal-Mart is the drop-side version. The $160 one at Target and BRU is the fixed-side version. Just FYI because I thought they were the same item and asked Target to price match (because we have gift cards) and they pointed out that they are different cribs.

Walmart has the fixed side version, too, but it's $159. I don't really understand why it's more, though.
Thank you for clarifying bc I read some bad things about dropside cribs in Baby Bargains...not necessarily all cribs with dropsides are bad just that as your baby grows and starts to push on sides/stand up in crib etc that they can be hazardous
My parents are buying our nursery furniture and decided to get the Kimberly Combo Unit (just a dresser that you can use as a changing table) and add a changing pad to the top.
We got the crib and changing table in espresso. We havn't put them together yet but I'm not buying a dresser so we needed a changing table. Loved them in the store though.
And I made the mistake of getting the $120 one from walmart and realizing too late it was the drop side. I thought I was getting such a good deal lol.
