  • yeah, I was so sick I was on home health care with a 24 hour pump for the sickness. I would give anything to have it back.
DD(9)DD(5.5)DS(3)DS(born 2/1/11) July 2006, lost a baby at 8 weeks, natural miscarriage , May 2009 lost Zoe Eliana at 17 weeks no reason known, possible under developed organs. Lost two more babies in September 2009 at 7 wks 4 days. Had myomectomy surgery to remove a large fibroid in November 2009.
  • Eh. Morning sickness SUCKS, and when I am pregnant again, I am not going to be less annoyed by it than I was the first time around. I plan to b!tch about throwing up everything I eat and drink next time, same as the first.

But I agree - "this better end soon" is the kind of statement that haunts you if God forbid something goes wrong.

  • Those of you that don't have morning sickness should feel like the luckiest women alive!

Funny, I don't have m/s and still I don't feel like the luckiest woman alive.

And seriously, if it doesn't end, what are you really going to do about it?  Since I don't wish anything bad to happen to her or her baby, I do hope that she gets it as bad as i did with dd.  It lasted 6 months really bad, and I was still throwing up some until delivery.

I was just about to clarify that I totally get that m/s sucks balls, I have a friend who had a baby in Sept and had it the entire time. I'm not arguing that m/s should be pleasant just b/c you should be so damn grateful to be KU. It's not, I know.

It's just that I can think of a way for it to end soon. The naivete of that statement : dagger to heart.

  • My favorite is that it "blows beyond anything else".  No, pretty sure being told your baby is dead at your "big ultrasound" blows lots more.  Trust me, I've had both.

I was incredibly sick for 16 weeks, hospitalized 3 times for dehydration & starvation, lost 12 lbs and on bedrest up until a week before I lost the baby.  One day when I was pulling myself off the floor in the bathroom I said I don't want to be pregnant anymore, I can't take this.

I still think about this all of the time.  It does haunt me.

On that, we are in total, total agreement.

  • I'd trade places with her in a heart beat. I can't wait to have MS...they just don't know how lucky they are!
  • I didn't have ms either time. I told God I didn't care if I vomed on a client or my boss as long as the next one sticks!

Sometimes I want to comment in those posts. But I know that is just mean.

  • Now granted my m/s has not been nearly as extreme as what some of you ladies have described and i never required any medication like some of the ladies on 1st tri described but I have to say that having a loss really gives you a different perspective on the physical annoyances of pregnancy.  Everytime I feel like I'm about to barf I now have a little voice in the back of my head that says, yay! you still have symptoms!  and i know that very soon when you all get your bfp's you will all probably feel the same way and put those other ungrateful fertiles to shame.

This.  With my first I had it 24/7 7 days a week for the whole 8 months ( I delivered 5 weeks early).  It sucked, although I wish I could have it back again, that said I'd still biitch about it all the time lol
