16 weeks....where is baby?

in 2nd Trimester

This might seem like an odd question, but where would your uterus be located?

For a week or so, I felt little kicks or whatever sort of over ot the right of my abdomen, now, they are closer to the middle. So I'm wondering does the uterus shift from one side to closer to the middle?

Am I making sense at all? lol

    your uterus moves as it grows, but mostly thats probably the baby moving around inside your uterus!

    this:)  it also depends on the position of the placenta on where you may feel the kicks at...if you have an anterior placenta you may feel more kicks on the sides than in the front:)  hth

    The baby moves so you'll definitely feel movement in different places at different times.

    I was told at my 16 week appointment that my uterus was about 2 or 3 fingers below my belly button and by the time 20 weeks comes, uterus will be at my belly button.  I think the diagram is more helpful than my explanation though!
