I know! Mine is at the very end of my 20th week. I feel like the book from grade school "Are you there God, it's me, Margaret" when the girl thinks she'll never get her period.
I just had mine yesterday and I know what you mean. Enjoy it now because after you know the sex, it kinda feels like a whirlwind! At least it does it me.
I had mine today, and yes, it's awesome to know... but if we would've had it just a little later, we wouldn't have to go back for a second look at the heart. I know it's easy for me to say cause I know now, but if I had the choice, I think I'd have waited.
I had the big u/s at 18 weeks and it still felt like forever. I was so excited I could barely contain myself. Might I suggest that after you find out that you do something to celebrate? DH and I took the afternoon off and went out for a late lunch at our favorite restaurant and then took a trip to babies r us to look at baby stuff.
