How popular is the name Owen?

Do you know a lot of Owen's in your area? I love the name, it seems like I've been hearing it more and more.....

    I see a lot in the nursery at the hospital I work at. It's cute, though.

    I'm not sure.  I think it is fairly common, but not overly popular.  We are hoping anyways, because that is the name we have chosen if baby is a boy!

    I don't know alot of Owen's but I have been hearing it more. My bff works in a preschool and that is a name that she's heard more lately but she doesn't have multiple Owen's in one class.

    I am not sure about popularity, but I really like it.  I don't think we will use it though cause my bff's last name is Owens and I think that would be kind of weird (I know that is kinda dumb).

    I don't hear it all that often around here (Central Jersey) However, my sister in law just had her 6th child in early december and his name is Owen Michael.  First time I've heard it in awhile :)

    I really like that name, too, but I think it might be one of those names that is just going to take off in popularity in the next few years.  Makes me a little nervous!

    I have an Owen in my class (6th grade) and my sister's friend's brother is Owen (he's like 30) but they're the only 2 I've EVER met.  I really like it.
