$100 for maternity clothes...where to go?

I got $100 from MIL for Xmas & I was going to save it, but I really need some clothes that fit.  Where can I get the most bang for my buck in the Austin area?  I bought some t's from Target & one already has a hole in it...but I found a pair of jeans on sale for $15 that work fine.  I wouldn't pay full price for them.  My mom bought me a couple t's from MM and I might get some more of those b/c I really like them.  I work from home so I'm just looking for nice t's, a pair of jeans & maybe a few camis.  Thanks!

  • Ross, TJMaxx and Marshalls often have small sections of Maternity.  Old Navy.com will also have some reasonable stuff, and Gap.com is worth checking their sales--their stuff has held up really well for me.

  • I saw a nice selection of maternaity pants at Burlington Coat Factor this weekend for about $15/pair. Worth checking out.
  • I've been having really good luck finding bargains at Old Navy. The store at the Hill Country Galleria is the only one in the city that has maternity in stock. While the selection is small, I can always find my size and they always have stuff on sale. On Monday they still had all of their jeans on sale for 15 bucks!
  • I got several things from Kohl's recently. After bringing them home, the jeans ended up fitting weird as I wore them around (major butt slouch action) and one of the tops seems cheapier than in the store. The other two things I like. True that you can find some awesome deals on the Target clearance rack! I got a maternity tee there for like $2.

  • Check Craigslist and Ebay! I got my maternity clothes from: Old Navy (online), Craigslist, Ebay (although it's kind of a pain because you can't try the clothes on first!), JC Penney, Kohl's, Rock a Bye Baby secondhand (great prices on gently used clothing!) and I borrowed some stuff from friends.

  • Loved Rock A Bye. I too felt like most of the Target and Kohl's stuff fell apart. I did like 3 pairs of stretchy pants I got from there. Toward the end it's all I wore on the bottom because I was down to 1 pair of jeans that didn't make me want to strip naked. I had bad experiences with Old Navy tops last time and didn't even try this time around (I had tossed them all from my 1st pregnancy) GapMaternity is expensive but the quality is all there and stretch too. A few basics from there will take you through this pregnancy and the next!

Don't curse me, lol!  We're done, done, done after this kiddo!  If only Seton SW would allow surgical sterilization, we'd walk out positive of it, lol!

I already don't want to wear anything & I remember always just wanting to be naked with DS towards the end.  If only they made cute mumu's (sp?) I'd be rocking them for the next 4 months :)

  • OldNavy.com had a ton of stuff on sale the other day, so you might be able to still find some good stuff.  I got a bunch of tops from there and Gap and it got here yesterday already.  I think I might be able to make it three more months.  ;-)
