At my Dr's appointment today she was discussing her 24hr on call schedule for the next week and I was talking about the full moon on NYE. She said that she had to work and that if I didn't go into labor but wanted to come in and SEE her she would induce me....well my DH and I decided that we wanted to enjoy NYE at home and the next day is the bowl game (I know it sounds silly but we are HUGE OSU fans, and his brother is a duck). So we asked her the next day that she would be on call and she told us that we could do it on Jan 2.
I know I dont get the tax break or insurance break, but I am such a planner and I love knowing that I have a date scheduled if things don't happen before that! I am already 3 cm dialated.
I am so excited to know when things are happening.

Oh but you'll get it an extra year and maybe it will be more of a deduction for us 2010 girls that next year! Congrats on knowing when.
I really want my doctor there and she, I think, wants me to deliver with her. She just gave me the option and my OCD loved that I could plan it all out!
So yes I am inducing for my own selfish reasons.
My doctor told me yesterday too that she has no problem inducing me at 39wks because of progress that I'm making. I honestly don't see anything wrong with it either.
Have I mentioned... I am so very excited!!
