I have been getting this pain lately, and I have no idea what it is. I don't know if it's normal, or if I should be concerned. I've had a pain on the right side of my abdomen ever since the first trimester. (I had an ovarian cyst, and I had pain there even before I was pregnant.) At first this pain would just come and go - it didn't last long. I'm pretty sure it was just RLP. In the past month, however, it has gotten worse and worse. It wakes me up in the night. Usually if I roll over to my other side, the pain will go away. Twice now this week when I wake up in the morning, after I pee, the pain has started up again, and it is BAD. I don't know if it's a gas pain, RLP, or BH. It doesn't really feel like gas or RLP. It's an achy, crampy, throbbing pain. It was so bad this morning that I couldn't stand up to put my makeup on. I had to keep curling up in a ball on the floor. I got all sweaty and hot for a few minutes, and then it just all went away. (It probably only lasted 5-7 minutes at the most.)
If it happens again, I am going to call my doctor. I'm just wondering if a pain like this is something normal, or if I should be concerned. I figure that labor will be MUCH worse than this, so I'm just trying to use my pain management techniques to get through it, but I don't know if I should be doing something else.
Has anyone else had any experience like this?

But if it's something that concerns you, there's no reason not to run it past your doc. GL

I had these exact same issues yesterday morning. I woke up to it at 4:30 a.m. while turning over. I called my Dr office yesterday and they said that, in the absence of any other symptoms, it was likely just more severe RLP. Call your dr/nurse just to be on the safe side though.
