Hello and Intro!

Hi ladies!  I've been lurking around here for a little bit and posted some on 1st Tri.  I'm almost 15 weeks pregnant after suffering a loss earlier this year and I just wanted to say hi to everyone before I jumped in and started posting.

One quick question too, I have my second doctor's appointment today, what types of questions are you asking at your appointments?  Just any concerns that you may be having?

    Welcome and congrats! At my second doctor's appointment, we talked about my symptoms mostly. The best part was getting to hear the little one's heartbeat, though! Hope yours goes well!

    Welcome!!! Questions I have asked in the past:

    1.  What will happen in future appointments? (DH wants to know if it is anything exciting and if it is he will come.)
    2. When to take classes and what ones she recommended
    3. Weight gain questions. I gained all my weight so far btwn 14-18 wks and it freaked me out. I know that it is normal when you hit the 2nd tri, but wanted to make sure I was gaining "healthy" weight.
    4. Specific questions about the u/s (what to do before an u/s and how did everything look like), diagnostic tests (what tests can i take and are recommended), and labor (talked about a natural delivery).

    That's all I can think of right now. After every dr. appointment we start a new piece of paper to ask questions. This really helps me not forget everything and I can also write down the answers. Also, it gives me weeks to think of new questions.

    Hey, welcome to 2nd Tri :)  I've just been asking things as they come up, most recently about travel later in pregnancy.  Any symptoms you've had that you wonder if it's normal, that kind of thing, I guess.  I'm not a big question asker.

    Welcome to 2nd tri.

    My second appt was my first appt with my new doctor so we talked about future appts, how the practice worked, I was introduced to the midwife and other OB...simple things like that.
