And it was a quick, easy, fix - yay! Something about the ignitor being blown out or something like that. I don't know, I kind of tuned it out, and he explained everything to DH. I'm just happy we are warm. And it only ended up costing us around $150, so that is MUCH better than what I was expecting. Not that I really want to spend $150 on our furnace right now, but I was really afraid that we were going to have to spend thousands to get a new one, so I'm not gonna complain!

Great! I remember we came home to no heat last year, and luckily the guy who does our service was able to tell my DH how to fix it over the phone. We ended up sending him a GC, as he did not charge us. It so nice when it can be an easier fix.

I know how you feel. When we had furnace problems a couple years ago I was happy to pay $200 vs the alternative of a new furnace
