A lil Late; 2 weeks exactly but MY TWINS ARE HERE!

Hello ladies, Im sorry Im a few weeks late on posting but as you all know from your own experiences, its busy after you deliver MULTIPLES for a few weeks... ?This might be long, depending on how detailed I get, so bare with me..?

On Monday December 14th, I went for an ultrasound to see if I was going to deliver that week since during the whole pregnancy we all knew that baby B was taking in all the nourishments than Baby A was getting and how Baby A's weight was low and how the doctors were wanting to MAYBE deliver me at 35-36wks to watch over baby A on the outside than in me..?

So at 35wks they checked the baby's lungs (had the shots done at 29wks for the lungs to progress faster))... All came out great and the doctors told us that since I had eaten within the hour or so they couldn't deliver me that night but wanted to deliver the twins the next morning.. The anesteologists doesn't want women to eat before getting all the meds b4 delivery....?

Tuesday December 15th, DH and I dropped our son off with a friend near the hospital before my 10:30am Via c-section and went into the hospital..(with the H1N1 policy no kids on the level of the hospital.) ) ?All was well and fine.. This was my first c-section I was nervous but DH was there and kept me calm through the whole thing.. All went as planned. We still didn't know what the sex of the Identical twins were but my birth plan told the doctors/nurses that I wanted DH to announce it to me.. and he did so..?

At 11:07am our Beautiful identical twin GIRLS were born within 15seconds of each other.. Daisy Annalisa 3lbs 7oz. 17 inches long(baby A) and Emi Rose (Baby B - the bigger baby) 18inches long 4lbs 2oz......?

Both were born healthy for twins born at 35wks3days but due to the amniotic fluids getting to Emi she was put on oxygen and now off as of this week.. They also were both put under jaundice lights but that is normal....

Yes they both are still in the NICU and at the hospital... Daisy due to her small 3lbs 7oz body she was put in the NICU too but as of this week 2wks exact TODAY, they are now almost 4 and 5lbs! I will post a picture below...?

I delivered on December 15th and was sad that I could only visit my girls in the NICU and not in my room but in the end it all worked out.. I live in CO and the afternoon after I woke up from recovery, ?DH and I found out that at my hospital the morning I delivered they took the H1N1 child policy off so my almost 2year old son was able to be with me by day in my room but not overnight.. He still has not met his sisters but having him with me was a blessing..?
