Big Ultrasound scheduled!!

I have scheduled my big Ultrasound for Jan 11th! I am so hoping we will find out boy/girl!  We plan to bring our 3 other kids with us to find out all together! I sure hope baby cooperates!!

They told me I need to drink 32 oz of fluid an hour before? Is that standard? Why? I dont remember having to do that before.

    I've heard that they get a clearer image when your'e well hydrated.

    I just scheduled mine yesterday...It's not until Feb 13th though!! FOREVVVER! Im an xray tech so Im having my coworker scan me which will be nice because they will spend extra time with us and gets tons of pics! I could have it sooner but I figured Valentines day weekend will make it extra special..Plus 20 weeks is better to get the best scan for any anomalies...As for the water your bladder must be completely filled or they will make you drink/wait until it is....It's standard for any pelvic ultrasound. Good luck!
