they really aren't that big a deal. just tell you that baby is moving etc. and typically only given if overdue or if there is a sign of distress. a biophysical now that is more exciting as you get the nst and an ultrasound
I had one on Saturday nah nah nah nah! And the nurse said he is perfect he does exactly what he is suppose to beautiful baby. I was semi confused since she wasn't looking at him but I guess it made her excited that he did what he was suppose to
I had my first one today...the first of many, since I'm going twice a week until this little guy comes. It was absolutely nothing special at all...just monitored his movements, which I already knew he was doing. You're not missing out!

Why do you want them?
I get to start having ultrasounds and biophysical profiles d/t my bp - I felt sorry for myself about it all last week.
It's not fun or exciting. You just get hooked up to monitors for an hour or so, or until the baby has enough accels/decels and movements.
I've had three in a week due to BP issues and would be happy not to have to drag myself to the hospital every few days.
