What kind/brand of stroller are you thinking of for your LO? I'm definitely using a travel system. I think I might go with Graco brand. What about you?
Bob, with the infant seat attachment and the Graco Snugride. Although I go back and forth to wanting a Uppa Baby Vista, but I think the 2010 price tag is just too much for us.
We have the Chicco Cortina travel system in Discovery. It's #1 consumer rated.
This, I think it is the Cortina in red (definitely Chicco brand). We asked at BRU which one was more popular, Graco or Chicco and they said Chicco. They also said it had a better rating.

"Dear Lord, I would have loved to have held my babies on my lap & tell them about you, but since I didn't get the chance, would you please hold them on your lap & tell them about me?" All are welcome!
We plan on getting just the carseat/carrier (Graco snugride) and then a Snap N Go. We first liked the idea of a travel system (carseat/carrier/stroller) but found them to be
1) way too expensive to use for a short period of time... 2) way too bulky, heavy and awkward to deal with 3) the stroller was way too big and if I plan on going to the store with LO, I don't like the idea of lugging that big monster of a stroller with me.
The carseat/carrier + Snap N Go combined was half the price of a travel system and it was way easier to deal with... and compact for our car. When LO outgrows the carrier, we'll just get an affordable umbrella stroller that he can grow with even into his toddler years.
Our first stroller was an Evenflo travel system. I then got a Baby Trend jogging stroller that I love and made my default stroller.
Now that I need a double stroller I really, really want a Bumbleride Indie Twin, but it's a little pricey so I think DH is going to need some convincing.
I got the Inglesina Swift- compact, very lightweight, easy to use, 120 degree recline, great ratings in Baby Bargains. Decided against a travel system (too heavy/bulky/costly). I'd prefer to just wear LO until they are big enough to use the stroller at 3 months. I may also get the City Mini Jogger later on if I start running again.
We are going with the Baby Jogger City Select! It comes out in stores next month and I can't wait!!! It is a little pricey but I love all the options for when we have a second LO and need a double! DH loves it too!
We got a graco travel system and it was awesome! it lasted through 2 kids and it was great that the car seat just clicked in the base for the car or the stroller. you never had to wake a sleeping baby! we then had to get a double stroller (graco) when my DS came ( they are 14 months apart) and the car seat fit in there as well. highly recommend it!
My girlfriend highly recommended her Graco Quattro Tour travel system since it has lasted through 3 children. However, it is wide and heavy.
DH & I looked and decided we liked the Graco Metrolite. The stroller is light weight to use for a toddler and also fits a snugride infant seat to use as a Travel System. It can be bought as a travel system or stroller separate from car seat.

This is the one we've picked. It's really easy to collapse and it feels very steady and secure.
Consumer reports has the Graco Quattro Tour Sport rated #1. The Chicco Cortina is rated #6.
ETA: the chicco keyfit is the #1 rated car seat.

We're going with the Uppa Baby....we're in love with it and friends have been raving about it.
