If Clomid failed, was Femara another option to try?

I've conceived on Clomid, but am currently having erratic ovulation on it.  Had a great cycle with beautiful folicles.  This one is a bust - both on 150mg.  My RE won't go higher than 150mg. Femara may be an option.  Any success?

    I had much better success with femera than with any amount of clomid. No + test, but much better b/w and follies. Just make sure you are NOT pregnant before taking it because it can cause birth defects in male fetuses when taken when pregnant.

    I also didn't have any luck on clomid, but have started ovulating now that I'm on femara.

    I mostly lurk here because we had tttc DS.  I was on clomid for 8 cycles and then tried femara.  We got pregnant the 5th cycle of femara.  I had a lot less side effects with femara than clomid.  Good luck!
